Mr. Bharat Mani Devkota has more than 30 years of professional experience mostly as senior manager/director in development organizations in Nepal, and other parts of the world. His expertise lies in designing policies for the organization, financial and grant management, human resource management and overall management of programs. He has served in many International organizations including Save the Children-USA, Equal Access and Hellen Keller International. He is actively involved in various social issues and believes that change is possible only through the grassroots level.
Prof. Dr. Archana Amatya is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, a Public Health expert and a social worker. Her areas of interest are Maternal And Newborn Health. She has more than 20 years of working experience in the health sector, as a Professor and Head Of Department Of Community Medicine & Public Health at the Institute of Medicine and as a consultant for various organizations. She is actively involved in research and has published many articles related to women's health in national and international journals. She is currently involved as a senior technical advisor at USAID’s Strengthening Systems for Better Health Activity.
Shiva Prasad Paudel is a legal expert and human rights advocate. He is a critical player in promoting access to justice, judicial compliance, and good governance. He is very active in the field of Children’s Rights. He has contributed significantly to draft the current Children’s Act and many child rights related by-laws. He taught law and policy at Kathmandu University School of Law and School of Science for over three years and served as a public interest lawyer in Forum for the Protection of Public Interest (Pro Public) for over two years. He was appointed by the Central Child Welfare Board (succeeded by National Child Rights Council) to lead the Juvenile Justice Strengthening Program from 2004-2007, where he played crucial role in setting up the juvenile benches, rolled out capacity building programs for judicial and non judicial staff and drafted juvenile justice procedures, standards and manuals. He worked for a decade in Save the Children Nepal and South Asia Program as a child protection, gender and social inclusion and governance advisor/specialist/ manager. Mr. Paudel is currently working as a policy analyst in Association of International Non-Governmental Organizations (AIN).

access to justice, especially educational justice, and is
very active in the field of education. He is currently a
member of the Board of Directors of Hired to Home,
Inc, a New York based organization, Open Learning
Exchange Nepal (OLE Nepal) as an advisor. He is also
the CEO of Prime College and Prime Educational Inc.
He has contributed significantly in designing and
developing teaching materials such as syllabi, visual
aids, etc. His core areas of expertise also include
analysis of policies, public issues, legislation and the
operations of governments, businesses and
organizations that influence the human rights status of
a developing country. He has been involved with
diverse organizations in the field of development, and is

education for all.
A journalist by profession and a social worker by passion, Mr. Govinda Prasad Adhikari’s works are remembered in the field of disability rights and child protection i.e. children with juvenile delinquency. He is the Executive Editor of bahrakhari.com. He is also a board member of a children’s hospital –Kathmandu Institute of Child Health. He has chaired the Board of Underprivileged Children’s Educational Programs and Creating Possibilities Nepal. He has also served as the Executive Director of Social Welfare Council.
Mr. Uttam Sharma has his doctorate from the University of Minnesota, USA and is an emerging economist of the country. He is currently engaged with the World Bank and Asian Development Bank as an international consultant, and Institute for Social and Environmental Research Nepal as a Research Scientist. His core areas of expertise are Quantitative Research, Impact Evaluation, and Education Economics. He has been involved with diverse organizations in the field of development, and is working towards ensuring quality education for all. The fieldwork for his research has taken him to countries such as Bangladesh, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and Uganda.
Ms. Poonam Poudel is a journalist with two decades of experience in the media where she has worked in print, radio, television and online media. She has worked as a mentor on election journalism for journalists elected from all over the country. She is also working as a trainer for journalists interested in broadcast journalism. She is currently the news editor of breaknlinks.com, a US based online news portal. In the past, she has worked for renowned media platforms in the country such as Nepal Television, Radio Nepal and Kantipur Television. She was awarded by Kathmandu Lady Jaycees in 2016 for her long term contribution to media.
Prof. Dr. Bhagawan Koirala is a cardiothoracic surgeon, professor, manager, social worker and a public figure. He is best known for pioneering open-heart surgery in Nepal through Sahid Gangalal National Heart Center and for starting an operational cardiac care for the public. He has contributed significantly to reform health sector and in many other national issues. He is also involved with Lancet Commission and International Cardiac Society. Recently, he has been leading the establishment of a children’s hospital - Kathmandu Institute of Child Health.
Mr. Prateek Pradhan is the Editor-in-Chief and Executive Chairman of Baahrakhari Media, a news portal (http://www.baahrakhari.com) . He started his career from The Kathmandu Post in 1993 and has over two and half decades of experience in journalism. He has served as the editor of The Kathmandu Post and the Editor-in-Chief of Karobar Economic Daily and Nagarik Daily. He was also Press Advisor to the Prime Minister of Nepal in 2015. Mr. Pradhan has a Master’s in Economics, Journalism and Public Policy from Tribhuvan University, New York University and Harvard University, respectively. He champions the cause of freedom of expression, press freedom, democracy and the rule of law. He also works as a freelance political commentator at various television channels.
Dr. Arun is the first child & adolescent (C&A) psychiatrist of Nepal and pioneered C&A Psychiatry field in Nepal. He is the former President of Psychiatrist’s Association of Nepal (PAN) and founding editor of Journal of PAN. He is currently working at Kanti Children’s Hospital. He is involved in various researches and social activities.
Rajesh KC is a leading cartoonist in the Nepali media, with over two decades of experience. He has produced thousands of single-panel cartoons. His works have been featured in Kantipur, Nagarik, Setopati and Baahrakhari. He is currently serving as a Managing Editor of Baahrakhari online. He is also an entrepreneur who runs Phalano Coffee Ghar and Phalano Luga.
Min Bahadur Bham is a popular film director, also devoted for social causes. He has directed popular films like Bansulli and Kalo Pothi as well as produced several films in Nepal, Myanmar and Hong Kong. The Nepalese President has also honored him with the National Talent Award for his contribution to arts and culture. His film Kalo Pothi won more than a dozen awards including Best Film Award at Venice International Film Festival Critics Week. He has been teaching and supporting young filmmakers in Nepal, Korea, Myanmar and France since 2014. He represented Nepal and Nepalese film industry through his projects and presence at Cannes, Venice, Berlinale and many other prestigious film festivals around the world.
Dr. Kiran Regmi has served the health sector with almost three decades of medical profession. In this, she has embraced the role of clinician, manager, administrator, health economist, leader, counselor, social mobiliser, professor, and cultural philosopher with legislated duties and power. She has successfully completed her tenure as a health secretary where she acted as a principal portfolio advisor to the health minister. Her success has been attributed to honesty, accountability, organizational skills, efficiency, flexibility, good governess insight, and the ability to deliver an optimal result consistently under challenge.
Mr. Nhyoo Bajracharya is a well known music composer and singer. He is mostly known for his compositions for Ani Choying Dolma with his fusion style music. Some of his well known compositions are “saya thari baja eutai taal”, “shanti lukau kaha”, “phool ko aakhama”, “laaija chari” among many others. He has released more than 34 albums in Nepali, Newa-Bhasa and Hindi. He is serving as a chief judge in a singing reality show, Nepal Idol. He has performed various music concerts in France, Japan, USA, Canada, UK, Australia and many more. He is also passionate towards social issues and has been contributing in this field.
Dr. Deepak Prakash Mahara, a specialist in Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, and Arthroplasty Surgery, is a graduate of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India. He led the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Kathmandu, Nepal, as Executive Director from 2014 to 2018. His leadership was crucial during the 2015 earthquake, where TUTH, thanks to its earthquake-resistant construction, was the only fully operational hospital in the region. Under Deepak's guidance, the hospital treated thousands of victims and established outreach programs in affected districts. His efforts highlighted the importance of preparedness and international cooperation, earning him widespread recognition and gratitude.
