PARTNERSHIP WITH THE GOVERNMENT

Karuna Foundation Nepal works in close partnership with the Koshi Provincial Government and local governments to implement the Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Program (DPRP) across all 137 local governments in Koshi Province. The organization also collaborates closely with government institutions across its other programs to strengthen public systems, enhance service delivery, and maximize sustainable development outcomes.

Karuna Foundation Nepal believes that lasting development is achieved through strong government leadership and active community participation. Guided by this belief, the organization focuses on strengthening local government systems, building institutional capacity, and fostering community ownership to ensure that development initiatives are sustainable, inclusive, and locally led.
