We design the project to be owned by the community – starting from planning, implementation to evaluation. The community (the households, local and district agencies) also contributes financially for the projects like Inspire2Care and Share&Care. In these projects, cost sharing between Karuna Foundation Nepal and community is 80%-20% in the first year, 50%-50% in the second year and 30%-70% in the third year and technical support for two more years. From the fourth year the communities are able to run the program independently.
